ANNOTATION

This article analyzes the resource and economic potential of the mining industries of the Sughd region. In particular, the Anzob GOK, the Adrasman GOK, the Zarnisar (Altyntopkan), Konsai and Obsharon (Kuruksay) deposits.The Adrasman Mining and Processing Plant specialized in the production of lead-silver concentrate; the product was supplied to the Chimkent Lead Plant (Kazakhstan) for processing.In the Zarinsar mine, over 1.5 million tons of lead-zinc ore were mined per year, containing associated components such as silver and indium, and processing was carried out entirely in Uzbekistan at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant. The deposits of the Konsai group (Central Konsai, Aktash, Eastern Kantash, etc.) are located in the southern part of western Karamazar on the territory of the Okurtau mountain range.
