ANNOTATION
This article analyzes and develops the problems of the current state of cotton growing and its development in Sughd region. In addition, the article explores the priority areas and goals for the further development of the cotton industry, which will give a serious impetus to the country's food security.At the same time, this article analyzes the stable economic development in the field of cotton production over the years of independence of the republic and provides specific information on the growth of GDP and incomes of the population.
