ANNOTATION 

General conditions explaining historical process of increasing importance of transaction costs, also factors influencing variation of costs in conditions of market relations is reviewed in the article. Substantiated and defined necessity of identification of costs increasing tendency that can be bad up to transaction costs category, reviewed issue of transaction costs role and significance in transitional economy of republic. Increasing transaction costs are considered as indicator of society progress; as tendency of postindustrial structural formation and transition to informational progress stage of the society.
