ANNOTATION
The article analyzes the socio –economic aspects of regulating the incomes of the population in the region. Based on the study of the state of incomes of the population of the country and regions that developed during the period of economic reforms, the necessity of state regulation of incomes of the population in order to eliminate unjustified differentiation is justified. The methods and instruments of income regulation characterizing various socio–economic directions of regional economic policy are considered. The mechanism of regulating the incomes of the population through budgetary, tax, monetary and institutional forms and instruments is disclosed. In order to increase incomes and living standards, the authors propose the adoption of general economic measures, such as promoting employment, raising wages, improving tax policy, leveling socio–economic development of regions.
