ANNOTATION

The social breakdown that occurred after the October Revolution affected all spheres of public life, including science. Economics has found itself in the epicenter of radical transformations. The class-based Bolsheviks proceeded from the necessity of subordinating economic science to the interests of the proletariat and expected recommendations from it to achieve politically defined goals. Driven by the harsh economic necessity of the current moment, the Bolsheviks, although they sought to follow Marxism, were forced to experiment in practice and at the same time create a theory. The article is dedicated to the bright memory of an outstanding statesman and politician, a bright representative of the liberal trend of the political economy of socialism, a scientist-economist Abdurakhim Khodjibayev.
