 ANNOTATION

 

The article examines the historical aspect of teaching information technology to schoolchildren, the tasks and main approaches of teaching information technology in the conditions of education fundamentalization, the obligatory stages and sequence of teaching of information technology. It is noted that it is advisable to complete the training in information technology with a review of multimedia processes, which allows one to generalize and systematize previously formed knowledge and skills of students in the field of working with graphics and text, spreadsheet processors and databases, as well as expand knowledge. about the possibility of providing information. It is concluded that the use of methodological features of information technology education in computer science classes makes it possible to form general means of interaction with a computer, more effectively apply acquired knowledge and skills in classes in various subjects, solve interdisciplinary information issues, and independently master various software tools.
