ANNOTATION

The article is devoted to the formation of a sense of patriotism towards national values among students of higher professional educational institutions through educational activities in the field of ecology. In the article, the author describes the process of forming a sense of patriotism and respect for national values among students through educational activities, extracurricular activities, extracurricular activities, which includes internal and external communicative indicators of its components: cognitive (understanding the concept of the Motherland, knowledge of geography, history, traditions , shrines); feelings are reflected (the level of recognition of oneself as a citizen and a patriotic personality) Issues of increasing national pride and self-respect of students are discussed in the context of environmental education, which contributes to the improvement of thinking and worldview. The continuous process of formation of a sense of patriotism among students is analyzed depending on the level of environmental education. It is clear that constant learning and in-depth knowledge of the country's natural resources play a decisive role in the formation and improvement of a sense of patriotism and patriotism among students.
