 ANNOTATION

 

The article is devoted to the consideration of the theoretical foundations for the formation of civic-patriotic values of students in educational institutions. The author emphasizes that the formation of a sense of patriotism, internationalism and motivation among young people to defend the Motherland is one of the priority areas of state policy, and the historical events taking place in the world prove the importance of patriotism education for the development of social stability and, in particular, for the development of the individual. The correctness of this opinion can be verified by analyzing special psychological and pedagogical literature, scientific works in the field of philosophy, sociology, and history.The author of the article also states that a worldview should be formed in the minds of students of educational institutions, in which the main element is thoughts and references to their great Motherland. Readers need to be reminded what a glorious and difficult path the country has traveled, what great deeds their ancestors accomplished, so that strong moral guidelines are embodied in the minds of young people. To do this, it is necessary to use all available means of educational institutions and organize purposeful work to educate the patriotism of the younger generation.
