ANNOTATION
The article examines the criteria for assessing the social intelligence of primary school students. Since the methods and technologies of this assessment are actively developed by scientists in different countries practicing different scientific schools, the author tried to cite the results of their works, which are widely used in the applied activities of psychologists and teachers, educational practice.The author also examines the theory in the article that allows us to conclude that it is wrong to use a single intelligence indicator to assess the mental abilities of a person. The article presents scientific results that are used in various educational practices, describes large sets of tools necessary for the study and evaluation of social intelligence.Based on his observation, the author argues that such qualities of a child as resistance to stress, the ability to think logically in difficult situations are most clearly manifested if such tasks are presented to children in the process of participating in various competitions.In conclusion, the author emphasizes that in order to get a holistic view of the features of the mental development of the child's intelligence, it is necessary to be well-oriented in these areas and understand complex techniques.
