ANNOTATION

Education and training is the most important and reliable way to get a regular education. Education reflects all the main features of the pedagogical process and at the same time has a specific qualitative difference.Learning is a complex and multifaceted process, especially an organized reflection of reality in the mind of the student, and is nothing more than a specific cognitive process controlled by the teacher. It is the guiding role of the teacher that ensures the assimilation of knowledge, skills and abilities, the development of their mental strength and creative abilities.The chosen topic is considered relevant in modern times, since in recent years the problem of activating students in the classroom has attracted the attention of teachers more than ever, and teachers see the possibility of changes in the educational process precisely in the rational and effective application of new and active teaching methods.Managing student activity is called the activation process. Activity can be defined as a continuous process of encouraging students to active, purposeful learning, eliminating passive and stereotypical activities, degradation and progress in mental work. The main goal of student activation is to develop students' independence and improve the quality of education.The author believes that the system of the process of activating the cognitive activity of students for learning is based on the main provisions: the theory of activity, the theory of the development of cognitive interest, the theory of activating the cognitive activity of students, collective social activity.This article presents the research of scientists on the issue of enhancing the cognitive activity of students, and notes that the value of creative search becomes more effective if it is preceded by strengthening and transformative activities, during which students master teaching methods.
