ANNOTATION

The article refers to the correction of some bayts of the poet  of 17th century Sayido Nasafi. The study of all the divans of Sayido Nasafi, which has been published up to now, requires a new scientific and critical version of the poet's works on the basis of available manuscripts and reliable scientific and literary sources such as anthologies, historical books, etc. This is due to the fact that the scientific public editions of Sayido's works which are available to the public today are not free from errors and defects. It is proved that the last devan of Sayido's poems, published five years ago, needs to be corrected and criticized, compared with the text of handwritten copies or sources closer to the original. The author revealed some errors and shortcomings in Sayido's poems that appeared in the 2017 edition of the poet's collection of poetry. He corrected them and emphasized that today it is time to publish scientific-critical editions of the poet's works based on new achievements in textology and new technology.
