ANNOTATION

Having studied the problem of developing the grammatical competence of students and relying on their own teaching practice in a language university, in the present article the authors share their experience regarding organizing the content of teaching aimed at the formation and development of the grammatical competence of future foreign language teachers on a situational-thematic basis by means of a dialogue of cultures (English and Tajik).The authors underline that in order to create situations aimed at the formation of the grammatical competence of students, an intercultural dialogue, as the basis for relationships, can play a key role in achieving the communicative goal of foreign language teaching. On the basis of the analyzed literature, the authors have developed examples of intercultural situations oriented on developing the grammatical competence of students.
