 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on specific features of teaching Russian as a non-native language at primary grades with a native language of instruction related to the fact that Tajik student comes to school speaking his native (Tajik) language and transition into Russian presents certain difficulties due to various factors. In particular, first of all, non-native language with its own phonetic and lexical-grammatical features and rules being taken into account. It is underscored that students not only face pronunciation difficulties, but also an absolute lack of vocabulary, lack of communication skills in Russian, and the negative influence of the Tajik language in the perception of language material. In conformity with the author`s opinion, in order to solve all the existing problems a purposeful work of a Russian language teacher with Tajik students in the primary grades is required: a reasonable dosage of language material, its presentation taking into account the characteristics of the native language of the students, a methodological setting for the development of Russian speech of younger students with their native language of instruction . The importance of the educational process is emphasized precisely in grades 2-4, when the foundation is laid and the basis on which the speech activity and activities of Tajik students are built in the future, the desire and interest in studying elementary Russian speech are awakened.
