 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the issue beset with the subject “Medical Informatics” teaching at both medical universities and colleges. It is underscored that in the course of the study of “Medical Informatics” students learn resorting to modern technologies, software, methodological support of medical information systems, local and global computer networks and professional corporate networks being taken into account as well. The author of the article canvasses the approaches to usage of telemedicine technologies and services in clinical examination, consulting and educational activities with virtual contact (online) separately. Adducing the specific examples out of the telemedicine centers activities, despite territorial barriers the author shows the methods aimed at providing timely and high-quality medical care to patients.
