ANNOTATION

The article dwells on a brief overview of Abulfatha Busti`s lifestyle and creations. It is underscored that Abulfatkhi Busti was one of the bilingual poets of Tajik-Persian literature referring to the X-th – the XI-th centuries and during his lifetime was very popular among the men of state and literature. It is emphasized that Busti played an important role in establishment of relations between Sabuktegins and Samanids state. Abulfatha Busti`s eloquence is noted manifesting itself in two languages - Arabic and Persian-Tajik and he had a strong hand in both prose and poetry. His qasida "nuniya (Poem rhyming with the letter nun)" in Arabic was very popular. It is indicated that many poets wrote poetry in both Arabic and Persian-Tajik imitating nuniy. The author of the article comes to the conclusion that Abulfathi Busti`s literary productions have not been widely and scrupulously studied by Tajik literary criticism.
