ANNOTATION

The article under consideration dwells on the role of consciousness and conscious lifestyle in formation of an active life position of a person-social group-society. Proceeding from this consideration, the author focuses on an active and conscious life position of schoolchildren formation. In reference to it, the role and place of life knowledge, book knowledge, the role and place of a book, library, reading books, interest and need for reading books are disclosed. At the same time, the role and place of informatization of various spheres of life, computer literacy, information techniques and technologies is revealed as well. In the formation of an active and conscious life position, role and place of science and education, their rational integration and role and place of scientific innovation, rational international cooperation in the field of science and education are considered as the basis for the advancement of mankind in the relevant streamline.
