 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the role and place of reality and imagination in journalistic satire. The authors canvass the materials of humorous corner "Anbur" of the newspaper "Khakikati Leninobod" and proceeding from this assumption they offer information concerned with intricacies of comic genres and their features. Designing on the premise of the adduced analysis beset with satirical works, the authors study and consider the role of reality and imagination in humorous works. It is underscored that journalistic satire is based on all comics, mainly reality and comic images, as well as problems and ideas that play an important role in most comics, and are depicted colorfully and interestingly in combination with humorous and literary elements.
