 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the history and process of technological education development (labor training) in Tajikistan Republic. The history of arts and crafts of the Tajik people is mentioned, and valuable information is provided about ustod-shogird school and folk traditions. Three main stages of labor education formation are described, which cover the period from its inception to the October Revolution, the period of labor education in the Soviet Union and vocational training during the period of independence of Tajikistan Republic. Each of these periods is further divided into several stages, which are described in the article. The author sets out his/her views on the existing problems beset with the industry in different years, emphasizing: those changes in the curriculum and the content of the subject have created many problems for secondary school teachers. A particularly cold attitude was expressed with regard to technology lessons. However, the future of technology remains bright. Upon completion of the training programs, documents related to the process of technological education, textbooks, opinions of scientists in this field were analyzed and discussed a number of topical issues were identified and summarized.
