ANNOTATION
The article discusses ways to ensure sustainable economic development of the republic. Theoretical aspects of the formation of sustainable economic development are considered. It is noted that the foundations of the concept of sustainable development were laid in the late 80s of the last century. According to scientists, sustainable development includes three aspects - economic, environmental and social. The article identifies the main problems of efficient use of water resources as the main direction of sustainable development of the region's economy. The main measures for the implementation of the efficient use of water resources are substantiated and proposed - as the main direction of sustainable development of the economy of the region of sustainable development and its prospects from an economic, environmental and social point of view, bringing a tripartite effect, both from internal sources (from the republican budget ), and from attracting foreign investment (foreign investment) is expedient for its intended purpose.
