ANNOTATION 

The article discusses the theoretical and practical aspects of the organization and development of a strategy for the development of banks. In the course of the study, the author determined that the development strategy is a necessary program in the course of the bank's activities, and the success of the bank depends on its effective implementation. The author investigated the theoretical aspects of the necessity and importance of the development strategy in the course of the bank's activities and considered the process of its organization. In this regard, priority areas of the bank's activities were identified when adopting a development strategy and recommendations were proposed for their improvement. The author has developed an algorithm for developing a development strategy in a bank and recommended proposals for its implementation in the activities of credit institutions.
