ANNOTATION 

This article analyzes and evaluates the theory of the formation of free economic zones and their contribution to the development of the national economy. In the course of studying this issue, it was noted that the formation of free economic zones as an economic structure and its state regulation is based on legal foundations, which is considered one of the legal ways of forming free zones. Several modern methods and ways to improve the process of formation of free economic zones are proposed.In the process of studying the theory of the formation of free economic zones, the author studied several different theories based on them, made clear proposals, the implementation of which in practice leads to the improvement of such zones in the Republic of Tajikistan. Also, for the formation and further functioning of free economic zones, funds and financial resources are needed, several sources of which are analyzed in this article.
