ANNOTATION

In this article, an attempt is made to systematically represent the process of production and consumption of educational services of higher educational institutions in the environment of transferring domestic universities from a knowledge-oriented model of education to a competency-based model, which differ radically not only in the goals and objectives of the educational process, but also in the process of mastering and using the acquired knowledge and skills. This paper focuses on the fact that under the conditions of using different models, the attitude and degree of participation, as well as the activity of participants in the process of production and consumption of educational services, changes, which will lead to a change in the roles of participants, which will serve as the root cause of a change in the content of the process itself as a whole. Changing the content of the process of production and dissemination of knowledge in the environment for the implementation of the competency model, being a continuous and complex process, is aimed at developing in students the competency characteristics necessary for the accelerated implementation and effective operation of modern technology and progressive technology, the renewal period of which tends to be reduced, which imposes an additional burden on the education system which the present work aims to overcome.
