ANNOTATION

The article attempts to draw theoretical and practical conclusions based on the analysis of the conceptual framework of the Free Economic Zone and factual materials of FEZ "Sughd" in order to prepare the ground for increasing the effectiveness of FEZ. As a result, the author's definition of FEZ as a scientific novelty and a set of practical measures to improve the activities of FEZ "Sughd" were presented by both the state and domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, the implementation of which should be the main point of FEZ development. Sughd ”.

The set of measures presented in the article is mainly aimed at solving a problem facing FEZ "Sughd" and registered as a lack of funding for the development of economic entities in the region, and to stimulate foreign participants in FEZ "Sughd". An additional measure is to identify areas for development in the region, including the enrichment of the range of finished products destined for foreign countries, ie aimed at increasing the region's export potential.
