ANNOTATION

In this paper, various aspects of the management of the socio-economic system are considered, an analysis of the problems of public administration at the regional level is carried out. It is shown that each stage of the development of the regional economy is characterized by its own specific features and characteristics, the need for a balanced development throughout the country, the implementation of effective management tools is substantiated. The role and place of local governments in ensuring a balance in the development of the country's economy and the requirements for local executive authorities to achieve balanced development are shown.
