ANNOTATION
The article examines the endogenous and exogenous environments on the development of factors of competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses in Sughd region. The key internal problems are the low level of management culture in the entrepreneurial environment, which includes issues of management, planning, motivation and control, and which, by their nature, must be solved by the entrepreneurs themselves.
The main indicators for assessing the regional features of the market functioning are as follows: natural-climatic and socio-economic conditions.
