ANNOTATION

The article examines the theoretical and methodological basis for assessing  the level of regional competitiveness as a basis for sustainable economic development in the regions. Also analyzed theoretical  analysis of the methods of assessing the level of competitiveness of the region′s economy, the order of formation of the system, structure, indicator or factors of integrated assessment of competitiveness. Based on the results obtained from the study of competitiveness assessment methods, a system of assessment factors was developed  and its important aspects were stated. In conclusion, the results of the research are summarized and specific aspects are presented as a recommendation for future research on competitiveness.
