 ANNOTATION

 

The article discusses the essence of the cognitive interest of schoolchildren in modern pedagogical concepts.   It is noted that cognitive interest is an important aspect of a person’s general interest. Its subject is the specific nature of the human being: knowledge of the environment not only for the purpose of biological and social understanding, but also, in an attempt to enter into its diversity, to reflect in consciousness the directions of its essence, its cause-and-effect relationships, legality and contradiction. It is concluded that the interests of students, according to the logic of the study, should be internal to each student. From this point of view, the desire to develop students’ sustainable cognitive interest in educational activities is a real necessity.
