ANNOTATION
The article, based on important sources, examines the diplomatic relations between the Bukhara Emirate and the Russian Empire in the first half of the 19th century. The reasons for the intensification of diplomatic relations and Russia's interest in the Bukhara Emirate during this period can be seen in the strengthening of capitalist relations in Russia, the diplomatic and trade influence of England through Afghanistan and India, and other processes. It should be noted that the embassies of both sides faced special political and economic tasks during this period. Thus, thanks to several embassies from Russia and Bukhara, Central Asia, especially the Emirate of Bukhara, occupied an important strategic position for the superpowers. However, there were problems in relations between Russia and Bukhara, which are analyzed in this article.
