 ANNOTATION

This article shows the narrative aspect of «Muntakhab-at-taworikh» (Extraction from stories) by Abdu-l Qadir Badaoni with specific examples and is provided as an important literary source. Badaoni continues the tradition of the encyclopedia and has a distinct style of expression. In the article, in the third volume of Badaoni's historical work - «Muntakhab-at-taworikh» (Extraction from stories), the author gave interesting and new information about sages, scientists and poets, which are not found in other books. Therefore, the information of the author of the book is considered as significant and is a useful material in the study of the Persian-language literature of India.
