 ANNOTATION

The article considers the issues of organization and modeling of educational and research activities of students in a secondary educational institution. The author of the article notes that the pedagogical process of any educational institution involves the use of educational and research activities, the organization of which each institution approaches in its own way. At the same time, there are different opinions about the interpretation of this concept, its purpose and place in educational activities. Currently, in educational institutions and pedagogical research, concepts such as the organization of educational and research activities in relation to educational institutions and the use of research methods are not infrequently identified. In this connection, the author analyzed these concepts and clarified their real content.The author states that in science, research is understood as scientific activity that allows you to gain new knowledge about an object, phenomenon, event. That is, research should be attributed to the type of cognitive activity, which is characterized by accuracy, objective assessment, evidence and the possibility of reproduction. Developing this concept, we come to the conclusion that educational research is a special intellectual work of a creative direction, in which the student is in search of new practical and theoretical knowledge.
