ANNOTATION

The article discusses the role of additional education institutions in the development of the personality of children and adolescents, who are an important and structural part of the education sector. It is noted that educational activities are carried out in additional education institutions outside of school hours and help in developing the personality and abilities of children and adolescents and satisfying their individual needs, interests and desires. Therefore, it is considered important to increase the number of additional educational institutions in the republic, which, in turn, will contribute to a greater coverage of children and adolescents. The role of additional educational institutions in the implementation of the main directions of education and socialization of children and adolescents is significant, and it is important to pay special attention to this area.
