ANNOTATION

The article is devoted to the issue of correlation between reality and fiction in the materials of the newspaper "Javononi Tojikiston" ("Youth of Tajikistan"). The author notes that the journalistic material of the first years of the existence of the newspaper under study relied more on the constant facts and less used artistic imagination. However, in the further journalistic activities of a group of journalists of this publication, the proportion of reality and fiction was not respected, and the expression of the inner and spiritual experiences of the image object became a priority. Based on the analysis of many journalistic materials of the Javononi Tojikiston newspaper, the author comes to the conclusion that artistic imagination should be used in journalistic materials in such a way that it does not distort reality and is compatible with real life. In the use of fiction, the writer is freer, but the publicist remains true to reality.
