ANNOTATION

The article is devoted to the formation of communicative skills while working with a text, the purpose of which is to increase the level of development of students' speech (oral and written). The need to perform complex tasks that contribute to the improvement of students' linguistic competence depending on the specifics of the faculty is mentioned in the article. The importance of working on the text is emphasized, for the understanding of which tasks of a different nature are used, and their final goal is to teach students not only to analyze, but also to create a text. Types of exercises aimed at developing students' communicative competence are also presented.
