 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the development of the construction industry in Northern Tajikistan in 1925-1936. It is noted that during the relevant period the main role in the construction industry was played by the artels of “Builders”. Such artels operated in the center of each district. In this regard, the progress of the building materials processing industry and increase in demand for office and residential buildings has led to the development of of construction industry. The article provides information beset with the historical, political and legal foundations of the organization of construction industry organizations in the country, for the first time. The author cites the resolutions of the Central Committee of TR and the Republic of Tajikistan resolutions and other legal documents that directly constituted a favorable basis for the creation of artels in the construction industry. Detailed information is also provided on the organization, activities and formation of artels in the field of construction, in particular the artel "Builders" of the city of Khujand. Based on the available data, various aspects of the problem have been clarified. In conclusion, a brief conclusion is made on the basis of the presented material.
