 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on various aspects of life, position and status of the Persian-Tajik poets of tMaverannakhr literary circle under the angle of Muhammad Hakimkhon based on the material “Muntakhab-ut-tavorikh”. Alongside with other literary peculiarities of “Muntakhab-ut-tavorikh” the style of presentation of poets and issues related to literary criticism and rhetoric, which is a good help for determining the importance and value of the work in the study of the history of Tajik literary criticism being taken into consideration as well. Therefore, the author of the article makes an endeavor to look at various aspects of the literary problems beset with “Muntahab-ut-tavroih" by Muhammad Hakimkhon from a broad perspective and determine his status in Tajik-Persian historiography of Transoxiana literary circle of. Along with the main topic of the article, literary aspects, stories and legends about the life of poets, the history of birth and death, in particular, important details of the biographies of poets and other issues related to history and literary criticism are considered.
