 ANNOTATION

The article is devoted to the problems of using video materials in the process of foreign language education. It is mentioned that innovative technologies are considered to be a powerful factor that forms the educational environment. Many researchers and teachers of practice note that the effectiveness of modern technologies and, in particular, emphasize the effectiveness of the use of educational video materials in foreign language education; the communicative competence of students develops, however, the use of video resources is not an easy task, its solution of which requires from the teacher not only a certain computer literacy, but also knowledge of the methodology for their use. In the article, the author attempted to reveal the essence of the problems of using video materials in the process of foreign language education and to search the ways to solve them.
