 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the March events of 1918 in Bukhara. Deigning on the premise of information concerned with “Tarihi nofe'I” and other sources the author of the article shows the political situation in Bukhara after the October Revolution victory and the Soviet power establishment. In particular, Emir Alimkhan`s measures to maintain his power and strengthen the country`s defense capability, the Emir`s connection with internal and external enemies of Soviet power, aggravation of relations between Bukhara and Soviet Turkestan being taken into consideration as well. Particular attention is paid to Kolesov adventure and its tragic consequences.In his article the author compares, analyzes and adduces Muhammadali Baljvani`s information with the data from other historical sources, historians` and specialists` publications in the history of Emirate of Bukhara.
