ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the fairy tale genre being one of the most common genres of Tajik literature and examines its role in shaping the worldview of younger students as well. It is underscored that fairy tales play an important role in the upbringing and development of the child`s personality. It is emphasized that they may reflect important issues for the younger generation that contribute to the development of the worldview of children and provide opportunities for self-knowledge. The adduced results of an analysis of the sources showed that in modern society, teachers, psychologists and speech therapists have developed methods of working with primary school students based on fairy tales and their heroes as an effective way to develop such qualities as humanism and tolerance that affect their worldview.
