ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the issues beset with development, prospects and problems of advanced training of teachers of secondary schools. It is underscored that advanced training is a priority in the state policy in the field of education, professional retraining of educators is an additional postgraduate education in order to adapt workers in this field to new pedagogical specialties, improve their professional qualifications in secondary and higher education as an additional one. It is proposed to carry out the process of advanced training in accordance with the requirements of international law in order to ensure the compliance of the advanced training system with national and universal values. It is noted that in order to comply with international standards for the professional development of teachers, a number of projects have been implemented in cooperation with foreign organizations, such as the USAID project "Let's read together", the UNICEF project "Child Development Centers" and "Early Warning System"; The Open Society Institute - Assistance Foundation in Tajikistan launched the German project GOPA-GIZ which will promote the effective process of training specialists in the field of education.
