 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the details concerned with coming to power of Emir Nasrullah his first steps in state administration and policy of centralizing power in Bukhara Emirate. It is underscored that Nasrullah took measures to prevent separatism in some provinces, such as Shakhrisabz and Kitab. The emir`s policy was aimed at uniting Maverannahr and Khorezm. Nasrullah`s reformatory activities thanks to which people from different strata of society were involved in the government are especially emphasized. The military reform was effectively carried out promoting strengthening the military power of the state. The article canvasses the confrontation between Central Asian khanates, especially, relationship between Bukhara and Kokand sets out Nasrullah`s military campaigns details to the border areas and to the capital city of Kokand, as a result of which Madalikhan and his family members were executed.
