ANNOTATION

The article under consideration dwells on methodological competence formation and development of future teachers of a foreign language in the Tajik audience by dint of canvassing lingua-didactical skills of students who study at a language university.As far as it is concerned, the teacher`s competence is manifested in adaptation to changes in the educational environment, in the analysis and synthesis of the process and learning outcomes, in the selection of optimal methods and resources for learning.In her article the author considers one of the components of the methodological competence of a foreign language teacher, namely, his ability to compare and contrast the facts of the native and the target language including in the nomenclature components of his lingua-didactical skills, on the whole.
