THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATIONAL - FIELD AND INTEGRATED GEOGRAPHICAL PRACTICES IN DEVELOPING THE SENSE OF PATRIOTISM IN STUDENTS

ANNOTATION
The article dwells on the issue concerned with formation of a sense of patriotism and respect for national values in students by dint of educational-field and integrated geographical practices. The authors depicts the process aimed at the formation of the latter including a combination of both internal and external values in students and normative indicators of its components: cognitive (comprehension of the notion of the Hometown, knowledge of geography, history, traditions); emotional (the degree of self-awareness as a citizen and patriotic person; assessment of their activities and behavior toward to the Motherland; emotional reaction to the idea of the Motherland); activism in practice (participation in social activities; manifestation of independence, initiative in relation to the Motherland) being taken into account as well. The authors of the article lay an emphasis upon the idea that the process of educational-field and integrated practices is considered by virtue of purposeful activities of a family, an educational institution, officials of protected natural areas, economic facilities, directly in natural areas and industrial enterprises as well. The natural landscape, various climatic zones, varied relief, the technology of production attracts students` attention. In conformity with the authors` opinion, the nature alongside with the educational environment is considered to be as an effective means of teaching and upbringing possesses a powerful pedagogical potential targeted at formation of a sense of patriotism and respect for national values in students.
