ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the study beset with the poet’s style appertaining to the end of the XVII-th – the first half of the XVIII-th centuries of Tajik literature, Shaidoi Khujandi by name, who created the Indian style. It is underscored that imitation of Indian poets` style was a natural thing for the poets who lived in the relevant centuries and was considered as a tradition. It is mentioned that very few poets of the period in question demonstrated their relative independence in following the Indian style. It is worth stating that Shaidoi Khujandi did not fully embrace the style of Bedil`s poetry and representatives of the Indian literary style and did not make it a permanent process of writing his creation, but the poet used the relevant general literary process of the period in a relatively short period of his literary career. Owing to adducing specific examples, the author of the article proves that the peculiar complexity and isolation of the Indian style is expressed in Shaido`s poetry more simply, easily and naturally, upon the whole. First of all, Shaido made an endeavor to get out of the way of the Indian style followers and express his thoughts more clearly and easier.
