 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on one of the difficult topics in teaching Russian as a foreign language – structure and resorting to degrees of comparison of adjectives requiring more attention. It is indicated that most qualitative adjectives have a degree of comparison, i.e. attribute of an object can change its intensity. It is worth mentioning that the main types of structure of comparative and superlative degree of adjectives do not cause special difficulties for students of Russian language they quite easily use them in their speech. It is much more difficult for non-Russians to learn some forms: for example, the comparative degree in which consonants alternate or which are formed from other roots etc. The authors propose the system of exercises on the topic “Degrees of Comparison of Adjectives” promoting increase of the language culture of students, enrichment of their vocabulary and develops “a sense of language”.
