 ANNOTATION

The article dwells on the most important literary, historical and scientific sources for a detailed study of the biography of the Persian-Tajik poet and mystic of the XIV-XV centuries Kosim Anvor (1356-1433). These sources are grouped by the author and presented separately, and their descriptive data and materials in chronological order were subjected to An analysis of sources, especially anthologies (nameskire), shows that most of their information about the date and place of birth, travels and other information about the poet's biography is repeated and sometimes contradicts. However, we can conclude that on the basis of information from sources and their scientific comparison, it is possible to rewrite a more accurate biography of the poet.
