ANNOTATION
The sustainable development of the region is formed under the influence of many factors, which are characterized by social, environmental and economic indicators. The purpose of this work is to analyze the socio-economic indicators of sustainable development of the region and assess the situation in the Sughd region, as well as the analytical substantiation of the conclusion that the region meets the criteria for sustainable development. The paper presents methods for constructing time series and analyzing their dynamics, graphical visualization of the results of the analysis, index analysis, calculation of the integral indicator of sustainable development of the region using the arithmetic and geometric mean. An assessment of the socio-economic development of the Sughd region for 2010-2019 was carried out. according to the main indicators, complex indicators were calculated for the three components of sustainable development, it was revealed that the value of the complex indicator of economic indicators is most affected by the volume of industrial production, GRP, spending on science from the state budget, the value of the complex indicator of social indicators is influenced by such factors as average per capita cash income, consumer spending per capita, unemployment rate, and the value of the complex indicator of environmental indicators is affected by emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air. Based on these indicators, an integral indicator was determined in the evaluation period, as well as the zone and degree of sustainability, and at the end, a conclusion was made about the region's compliance with the criteria for sustainable development
