ANNOTATION

The article is devoted to the issue of rational nature management, which plays a decisive role in the socio - economic development of society. The authors note that the sustainable development of the productive forces and the well-being of the population of any country depends on the efficient use of natural resources and the state of the environment. Especially for mountainous countries, which have different natural conditions and a special territorial organization of productive forces, failure to take into account the natural and environmental factors of development and production location leads to the failure of economic policy, real damage to social indicators and cost. According to the authors, the solution of environmental problems in Tajikistan is closely related to the complex of ecological and geographical studies, which include natural and social sciences, and one of the important directions in the field of environmental management is geoecological monitoring.
