ANNOTATION

Within the framework of one article, scientific prerequisites, the discovery of the law of universal gravitation are shown, examples of determining the mass of celestial bodies are given, the calculation of cosmic speeds led to space flights. This combination contributes to a better perception of the presented material by students, and teachers can use them to increase the motivation of the educational process in physics and astronomy.
