ANNOTATION
The scientific article is devoted to a thorough study of the heritage of Shafiq Avrangabadi, a poet, compiler of an anthology and historian of the 18th century of the Persian literature of India. It is noted that poet’s works are classified according to literary, educational and historical directions. It should be noted that Shafik Avrangabadi created three tezkire: "Chamanistoni Shuaro" ("Poets' Flower Garden"), "Guli ra'no" and "Shomi Garibon" are unparalleled in some aspects and carry an important literary mission. As a result of the study of literary, scientific and historical works, it became clear that Shafiq Avrangabadi left behind a rich literary and scientific heritage, the study of which has so far been left without due attention of researchers. It is concluded that the works of Shafiq Avrangabadi have a versatile theme and open up new facets of Persian-Tajik literature and culture in India. Complete information is given about the manuscripts of the poet's selected poetry, his anthologies and historical books. Also, the historical heritage is of great literary and historical significance in terms of factual research of events and biographies. It is noteworthy that his historical books were written in the era of the development of the Urdu language and the loss of the leading status of the Persian-Tajik language, but he set out the history in the Persian-Tajik language.
