 ANNOTATION

 

The article deals with the position of teaching Sufi literature, including the mystical poems of Ahmad Jam, in programs and textbooks for students in secondary educational institutions in Tajikistan. The author considers the main goal of literary education to be the cultivation of a healthy literary taste in the reader, the formation of good manners, conversational skills, acquaintance with the greatest representatives of literature of the past and present and, on their basis, the education of the younger generation in the spirit of self-knowledge and piety, respect for national values, and the like. To achieve these goals, it is important to assess teachers' understanding of mystical issues, religious terms, worldviews of speakers, methods of analysis and interpretation of literary works. The article says that one of the main conditions for the correct interpretation of the words of a poem is to conduct textual research, and the emphasis is on choosing the correct and correct texts of poets' poems for textbooks.
